Alongside the arrival of the awaited new version of PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR), which just dropped for PS5 Pro users, CD Projekt Red has revealed that its blockbuster sci-fi RPG, Cyberpunk 2077, is also getting a free PS5 Pro update!
While we don’t yet have much detail on what updates the game will have for users of Sony’s top-tier PS5 console, nor do we know exactly when it’s launching (more information is promised in the coming weeks), we do know that it will arrive with the new and upgraded version of PSSR.
“Get ready to go PS5 Pro, chooms — a free Cyberpunk 2077 technological update for the PS5 version of the game is coming in the not-too-distant future! Stay tuned for more deets in the coming weeks!”
In its social media post, CDPR followed up by saying:
“For transparency: this update will not be introducing any new in-game content. It will release only for the PS5 version of the game and is solely focused on allowing it to take advantage of the expanded hardware capabilities offered by the PS5 Pro system.”
