The Switch 2‘s library of major third-party titles is set to get a nice little bump later in the year, with three fairly decent games from THQ Nordic‘s back catalogue finally making the transition to Nintendo’s newer hardware, while another goes the opposite way and introduces a Switch 1 version to compliment the existing Switch 2 SKU.
The three titles making their way to the Switch 2 are a trio of THQ’s remake/remaster efforts in Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, Destroy All Humans! and Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed, the former two of which have already appeared on the original Switch, with Reprobed yet to appear on a Nintendo console.
Destroy All Humans! will improve on the Switch 1 version with ‘richer visuals’ and resolutions up to 1440p, and launches on June 23, 2026, also including the Skin Pack DLC. Meanwhile, Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed will come with the Reprobed: Skin Pack and Reprobed: Challenge Accepted DLC, and releases on September 15, 2026.
Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is set for an October 6, 2026 launch date and updates the original Switch version with higher resolution, improved framerate, Joy-Con 2 mouse control support and the inclusion of the Costume DLC.
Lastly, SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide is the fourth title in this announcement, and is going in the opposite direction – newly launching a Switch 1 version on October 13, 2026.
Having played all of these, we’re not looking at a sudden cohort of system seller titles, but everything here should be a pretty decent addition to their respective catalogues. Epic Mickey and Titans of the Tide, especially, are genuinely good 3D platformers that are right at home on a Nintendo system.
