Hot off of revealing a massive new sequel, Kena: Scars of Kosmora, at the recent PlayStation State of Play, Ember Lab has announced that 2021’s Kena: Bridge of Spirits is making its way to the Nintendo Switch 2 in the coming months.
No release date has been confirmed, but a window of “Spring 2026” was given and, assuming that’s the USA’s Spring, means we should see it before June this year.
The Switch 2 version of the first Kena game will be complete with the previously-released Anniversary DLC which includes new outfits, gear and accessibility features, along with a New Game+ option.
Here’s the reveal trailer, showing off the game running (quite nicely) on the Nintendo Switch 2:
“We’re incredibly excited to bring Kena’s journey to a whole new audience, giving players the chance to experience her story at home or on the go with Nintendo Switch 2,” said Josh Grier, COO at Ember Lab in a supplied press statement. “As our studio’s debut title, the overwhelming support and love the game has received over the years has truly meant a great deal to our team. We’re beyond thrilled that even more players will now be able to fully immerse themselves in Kena’s world and become part of her journey.”
The recently-announced sequel, Kena: Scars of Kosmora, is set to take the titular hero on a new and even more dangerous and beautiful journey, later this year for PS5 and PC.
