As has been heavily speculated recently, Nintendo has officially announced that it’s premiering not one but two Nintendo Direct presentations next week.
A mainline showcase is happening on September 9/September 10 (depending on time zones), offering around 45 minutes of reveals, updates and other announcements for Switch 2 games with a focus on titles launching this in the Winter. That’s Summer, for my fellow Southern Hemisphere folks.
Directly after, a Nintendo Treehouse presentation will give fans an extra 110 minutes of looks at titles featured in the Direct.
But before all that, a special The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct will kick off exactly a day earlier on September 8/September 9 (again, depending on where you are in the world). This one will run for 30 minutes, and presumably this will be where we finally get a good look at the already-announced The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time remake – along with all of that alleged special edition Zelda-themed Switch 2 hardware.
