Announced during today’s stacked Nintendo Direct showcase, we’ve finally got the first look at a new first-party sports compilation exclusively coming to the Nintendo Switch 2, the aptly-titled Nintendo Switch Sports Resort.
The game is set to launch on October 22, 2026. Take a look at the reveal trailer below:
This new entry takes players back to the iconic Wuhu Island for another collection of 12 sports to play with various implementation of motion controls. This time around, the list of sports includes Boxing, Table Tennis, Archery, Tennis, Volleyball, Bowling, Basketball, Golf, Thumb Wrestling, Skateboarding, Power Cruising and Prop Plane. Plus Jump Rope for warm-ups.
The trailer shows off the ways in which the modern Joy-Con 2 controllers will allow players to get even closer to these bigger-than-life virtual sports, from returning ideas like Boxing and Golf to new stuff like Thumb Wrestling and mouse control Skateboarding.
