FromSoftware’s next original game, the Nintendo Switch 2-exclusive The Duskbloods, is preparing to launch a Closed Network Test in just a month’s time with sessions running from August 21 to August 23, 2026.

In the lead-up to the test, FromSoft and Nintendo have opened up applications for eager players to participate, asking them to fill out a quick survey and link their Nintendo Switch Online account in order to throw their hat in the ring.   1. Head over to the official sign-up page
  2. Select your region (Australians, you want the drop down box for Asia Pacific, fifth option from the top)
  3. Confirm the language by hitting the appropriate button
  4. Hit OK, and in the next screen scroll down and hit the big “Apply” button
  5. Continue on through the next few steps, accepting the T&Cs
  6. After this, click Link Nintendo Account and sign in with your Nintendo Switch Online account
  7. Once that’s linked, you’ll need to answer a quick query about your experience with FromSoft games
  8. Keep clicking through and confirm your application!

When will The Duskbloods Closed Network Test results be announced?

The Duskbloods Closed Network Test results will be announced on Friday, August 7, 2026 at 11PM AEST. Successful applicants will be advised by email at this time.

There will be a total of five sessions for the test, which will take place during the following windows:
