The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time release date and price have been revealed

Nintendo has blessed us with a stacked Nintendo Direct presentation dedicated entirely to celebrating the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda franchise, revealing a ton of updates on the Ocarina of Time remake, new special edition hardware, upcoming feature film as well as other fun 40th Anniversary tie-ins.

The one, big reveal that folks were looking forward to for this showcase, of course, is that Switch 2 remake of The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time. Along with a huge new look at the game itself, Nintendo has importantly revealed the release date. Here’s what we now know about the game’s launch:

When is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake coming out?

The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time launches on November 5, 2026 exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2.

Yes, that’s a week before Grand Theft Auto VI.

What’s the price of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake in Australia?

Nintendo hasn’t officially revealed pricing or available editions of the game yet, but we know the local Australia price thanks to an early reveal spotted by our friends over at Vooks. The standard game is priced at $109.95 AUD for the physical copy, while digitally it’ll set you back $94.95 AUD, the same price as Yoshi and the Mysterious Book.

We do also know that the physical copy will ship with special textured foil cover art for a limited time after launch.
