Sonic Racing: Crossworlds, 2025’s actual best arcade racing game, has a steady rollout of additions to its already-hefty roster of playable characters, both free and as part of its paid Season Pass, and the next drops have just been revealed.
Coming over the months of April and May as part of the game’s free content updates, are three new racers from across SEGA’s catalogue of franchises, including Red from Angry Birds, Goro Majima from the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series and Arle from the Puyo Puyo games. Each will come with their own bespoke, new vehicle as well.
Alongside this announcement, SEGA also revealed it’s adding eight new tracks to Crossworlds’ in-game jukebox, including a bunch of deep cuts from the company’s video game history in the “SEGA Racing & Variety” pack.
