Sony Pictures has revealed that an animated Bloodborne movie is in the works.
The announcement came during Sony Pictures’ presentation at CinemaCon, which is happening right now in Las Vegas.
The film has been called “very true” to the gory spirit of Bloodborne, and will carry an R rating (MPA). It’s being co-produced by hugely popular creator, Seán McLoughlin (Jacksepticeye), along with PlayStation Productions and Lyrical Animation. Via Variety.
In the same presentation, Sony confirmed some other exciting videogame-to-film adaptation news, including that the Legend of Zelda movie has officially wrapped filming, and that progress is being made on the Helldivers film with director Justin Lin and team heading to New Zealand in the coming weeks to begin building the film.
A new clip was also shown from director Zach Cregger’s upcoming Resident Evil film, which hits theatres on September 18, 2026. Via IGN.
