The new pricing will take effect globally, with the company blaming the cost of components for the hike, a common story as the consumer electronics industry wrestles with surges and shortages of memory and other necessary parts, caused by rapid expansion of AI infrastructure and manufacturing shifts towards AI-ready technology.
Under this new pricing structure, a 512GB Meta Quest 3 will now run you USD $599.99 / AUD $969.99 / £599.99 while on the lowest end, you’ll pay USD $349.99 / AUD $569.99 / £319.99 for a 128GB Meta Quest 3S.
