Razer and IO Interactive have announced a partnership that will bring owners of products packing Razer’s Chroma RGB and Sensa HD Haptics technologies a heightened level of immersion when 007 First Light drops on May 27, 2026.
Those playing 007 First Light, a story‑driven action‑adventure from the studio that brought us the beloved HITMAN franchise, on PC with compatible Razer gear will have access to a suite of reactive and curated effects to complement the game’s action and atmosphere.
The company says there are over 80 ‘precisely tuned’ haptic effects that delivery immersive, physical feedback for things like firing pistols, performing takedowns and swerving around at high speeds during a vehicle chase. These can be felt using a variety of gear that supports Razer Sensa HD Haptics, including the Kraken V4 Pro headset, Wolverine V3 Pro controller and Freyja haptic gaming cushion.

Adding to that are over 80 reactive lighting effects, which work with compatible Chroma RGB-enabled gear like the Basilisk V3 Pro 35K mouse, the Firefly V2 Pro mouse mat, the BlackWidow V4 Pro 75% keyboard and the 2026 Razer Blade 16 gaming laptop. Lighting effects will respond to in-game alerts, changes in environment, mission states and more to bring the game world extending beyond the screen and into your setup.

It feels nearly impossible to look anywhere without seeing some kind of 007 First Light collaboration at the moment, but this one is at least directly related to playing and enjoying the upcoming game. Perhaps not a reason to go out and buy a whole new setup of Razer gear, but if you’re already in the ecosystem or on the market for some new gear to better enjoy the game when it launches, it sounds like you’ll have a good time pretending to be a young James Bond by way of blinding flashes out of your keyboard and force feedback in your bum.
