New card reveals are always a big and exciting part of the hype cycle for an upcoming Magic: The Gathering set release, and they don’t get much bigger than this. Wizards of the Coast has announced it’s debuting one of the cards from Marvel Super Heroes, which releases later this month on June 26, in a very creative way – by placing it on a huge mural in Melbourne’s CBD.
Yes, if you’re fortunate enough to be an MtG/Marvel fan living in Melbourne, Australia, you have the opportunity to see a card reveal for the new Marvel Super Heroes set happen in real life, and supersized. Which is appropriate, given the card in question will be one depicting the larger-than-life Thanos.
If you’re keen (and able) to witness this unfold, you’ll need to head down to Melbourne Central, at the La Trobe St side, where you’ll pretty quickly spot the mural painted on the side of the building. As of right now, the card is but a blank space (baby), but the magic is set to happen at 12PM AEST tomorrow, June 2, when all will be revealed. The photo up top is from a few days ago, after it first appeared, but here’s a photo of how the mural looks currently. We partially obscured the image for spoiler reasons, given the art is already partially there, but if you click the arrow below you can see the original:

We’ll be on-scene tomorrow to check it out as it happens, so watch this space (and our Instagram page) if you’re keen to see what goes down. If you’d like to see the reveal in person, here’s where you need to be:
