As part of a slate of announcements that it revealed at Tokyo Game Show 2026, Devolver Digital has revealed that funky cooperative sci-fi shooter, Mycopunk, is coming to the PlayStation Plus Extra game catalogue as a Day 1 release on October 20.
The game has been in Early Access since July 2025, but October 20 will see it finally achieve full release status on both PC and, for the first time, PS5.
Mycopunk is a highly customisable first-person shooter where players work together to slaughter hordes of fungal enemies with an array of wild weapons, dealing with enemies that can grow bigger using the parts of their dead allies by crafting synergistic builds and executing them with style. Version 1.0 will introduce a plethora of new content from new guns and grenades to modes, maps, characters and hats.
