Devolver Digital, the ever-reliable purveyors of weird and wonderful indie video game joints, have once again graced the annual Tokyo Game Show circuit with their presence – bringing with them a slate of new announcements for both upcoming and already-released titles.
Here’s everything that Devolver revealed during TGS 2026, from ball-busting expansions to hammered-in release dates:
BALL x PIT: Risen Ballbylon expansion bravely rises on November 12
After blessing fans with a bunch of free content updates, the excellent BALL x PIT is finally using its addictive power to extract a little pocket change out of all of us, with a brand-new major expansion titled Risen Ballbylon.
For the low, low price of $6.99, you’ll be able to do the unthinkable and take the lift upwards as you ascend toward Risen Ballbylon and make use of eight new characters, 24 new balls and 20 new buildings, to take on the most challenging challenges yet across four new battlefields.
Risen Ballbylon will be available the same day as Grand Theft Auto VI – November 12, 2026.
Quarantine Zone: The Last Check gets a free major expansion, Miami Zero, on October 15
Brigada Games’ viral hit, Quarantine Zone: The Last Check, is getting a totally free expansion that takes players to ground zero of the zombie outbreak – Miami, Florida. Because of course that’s ground zero.
Tackle new challenges with new tools, work with new symptoms and discover the source of the infection while working on a way to escape the city. Miami Zero will be available at no extra cost to anyone who owns the game for PC or Xbox, on October 15.
Virtue and a Sledgehammer launches October 27 on PC
The latest thinker from Deconstructeam and Selkie Harbour asks the big question – What’s better? Therapy or a fuck-off sledgehammer?
Well, maybe it doesn’t so much ask as give you a not-so-gentle nudge toward the latter. Wield the hammer, crush the machines powering the ghosts of your past, and hopefully learn something from it all on when Virtue and a Sledgehammer launches for PC on October 27, 2026.
Mycopunk 1.0 arrives October 20 on PC and PS5
Wacky, cooperative sci-fi shooter, Mycopunk, is finally leaving Early Access on October 20, and in addition to the PC version it’s also going to be dropping on PS5 for the first time – and will be included in October’s PlayStation Plus Extra/Premium/Deluxe game catalogue.
With the release of Mycopunk 1.0, players new and old can expect tons of additional content including new weapons, maps, modes, a new character and… (drumroll…) hats.
