Out of nowhere, Nintendo Australia and New Zealand has revealed the incoming release of a new Nintendo Switch 2 console bundle, this time packaged in with the excellent Pokémon Pokopia.
The bundle is set to hit retailers and the My Nintendo Store in Australia on June 5, 2026, with Nintendo branches in other regions yet to confirm a wider global release. A price has also not yet been revealed, but we would expect it to be in line with the existing Switch 2 console bundles for Mario Kart World and Pokémon Legends Z-A (AUD $769.95).
Assuming the pricing is the same, that would make this a saving of around ~AUD $40 over buying the console and game separately, assuming full RRP in comparisons. Like the other bundles, the copy of Pokémon Pokopia included will be a digital download.
We gave Pokémon Pokopia top marks in our review, scoring it 5/5 stars and saying, “What could have been a very agreeable, cosy Pokémon-themed life sim winds up being so much more thanks to unrelenting ideals of community, conservation and creativity. Pokémon Pokopia defies being quantified or talked about in mechanical terms because what it offers isn’t quantifiable or mechanical, it’s a soothing balm and nourishment for the soul.”
What do you think of this bundle Will this convince you to pick up a Switch 2? Let us know in the comments or on our social pages!
