PlayStation has revealed the list of new additions coming to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium/Deluxe game catalogue in October 2026. It’s a decent enough month with a bit of everything, but the secret headliner is Mycopunk, which launches on October 20 as a Day 1 drop for subscribers.
The Devolver Digital-published game has been in Early Access since July 2025, but October 20 will see it finally achieve full release status on both PC and, for the first time, PS5.
Mycopunk is a highly customisable first-person shooter where players work together to slaughter hordes of fungal enemies with an array of wild weapons, dealing with enemies that can grow bigger using the parts of their dead allies by crafting synergistic builds and executing them with style. Version 1.0 will introduce a plethora of new content from new guns and grenades to modes, maps, characters and hats.
PlayStation is continuing its updated strategy of rolling out new PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue additions across different days in the core regions of the US, UK and Japan. Here in Australia, it remains business as usual with all these games dropping on October 20, 2026.
This month’s two Classics catalogue entries for Deluxe/Premium subscribers are the PS1’s Dino Crisis 2, which follows up the earlier addition of the original Dino Crisis, and RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Complete Edition, a modern port of the 2004 theme park management classic. That leaves Ratchet & Clank as the remaining PlayStation Plus Classics additions that we already know about for the rest of the year.
