
Nintendo has blessed us with a stacked Nintendo Direct presentation, the second in as many nights, and with all of the big The Legend of Zelda news out of the way, there’s been a lot to pack into this 45-minute showcase.
One of the smaller but no less exciting reveals during the show was Stage Fright, a new two player co-op adventure from the team at Ghost Town Games, who are the minds behind the chaotic, relationship-ruining kitchen sim, Overcooked!
But rather than tear friends apart, this time the studio wants to bring them together, in a long form mystery adventure where they’ll work hand-in-hand to solve escape room puzzles, surmount strange obstacles and explore a spooky town full of incredibly odd citizens. The studio says it’s inspired by classic coming of age movies and TV, as well as by Nintendo’s own Luigi’s Mansion series.
Stage Fright is set to launch in Autumn 2027. You can see the debut trailer below:
