Ubisoft has announced that Rayman Legends Retold, its upcoming remake of 2013’s incredible Rayman Legends, has been hit with a late delay, pushing back the game’s release date two full months and change.
The game was originally set to release in less than three weeks on October 1, 2026, but will now launch all the way down the tail end of the year on December 3, 2026. It’s still coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2 and PC.
For some, this may come as a bit of relief as the game now escapes the busy late September/early October period, and steers well clear of the double-header phenomenon of The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time for Switch 2 and Grand Theft Auto VI.
Rayman Legends Retold is poised to be much more than just a visual overhaul of the original game, offering a completely reworked campaign experience, new levels, a new realm and more – all on top of a lovely, fully-3D makeover using Ubisoft’s Snowdrop Engine, of course.
