The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary concert is headed to Australia

Nintendo has blessed us with a stacked Nintendo Direct presentation dedicated entirely to celebrating the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda franchise, revealing a ton of updates on the Ocarina of Time remake, new special edition hardware, upcoming feature film as well as other fun 40th Anniversary tie-ins.

Before the biggest reveals, series composer Koji Kondo appeared to announce a special The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary concert run, which will celebrate the iconic music from across the series.

The tour begins in Japan in January 2027, before continuing around the rest of the world. And yes – Australia is included. The concerts kick off locally in Melbourne on May 13, 2027, with further details on more dates and cities still to be announced.
